Personal development is at the heart of everything that we do at The Rosewood School. We are committed to delivering high-quality Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) that is age-appropriate, inclusive, and grounded in respect. In line with the Department for Education's statutory guidance, our RSE curriculum supports pupils' emotional, social, and physical development, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to lead healthy, safe, and fulfilling lives—both now and in the future.
Through a carefully planned and sensitively delivered programme, we teach pupils about healthy relationships, families, respect for others, online safety, growing up, and the changing adolescent body. We foster an environment where pupils feel safe to ask questions, explore ideas, and develop the resilience needed for life beyond school.
We work in partnership with parents and carers, valuing their role in supporting children’s understanding of relationships and wellbeing. Our RSE provision reflects our school’s values and ethos, ensuring every child feels included, respected, and prepared for the wider world.
